The Connecticut AIDS Drug Assistance Program can help pay for FDA-approved HIV-related drug treatments. There is no asset limit, but the income limit is 400% of the Federal Poverty Level. Physician verification of HIV/AIDS and proof of Connecticut residency are also required. The Connecticut Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (CBCCEDP) is a comprehensive screening program available throughout Connecticut for medically underserved women. The Hartford Hospital Partnership for Breast Care operates a digital mobile mammography program at Hartford City Hall and other locations that provides low or no-cost mammograms for women without insurance. Prostate cancer screenings and colorectal cancer screeners are also available. Call to learn more and see if you are eligible.
